We are proud to share a significant milestone in our journey with the Film Development Board (FDB) of Nepal!
On May 8, 2025, our team at Silicon Soft and I.T. Consultant Pvt. Ltd. had the honor of presenting a live demonstration of the Real-Time Box Office System to the President of FDB, Mr. Dinesh DC, and other board officials. This project was awarded to us through a competitive bidding process, and we have been working diligently to develop and implement the system as per FDB’s vision.
The Real-Time Box Office System is fully owned by the Film Development Board and is being developed under their guidance. The system is designed to bring transparency and accountability to Nepal’s film industry by enabling live tracking of box office collections across the country. Film producers and stakeholders will soon have access to accurate, real-time data—ending speculation and boosting industry credibility.
During the demo, we showcased the progress of the system development and demonstrated key features that are already functional. The presentation was well received, with valuable feedback provided by the FDB team for the next phases of implementation.
We are also excited to share that our demonstration was featured on Routine of Nepal Banda’s official Facebook page, highlighting this initiative as a step forward for digital transformation in Nepal’s film sector.

This is not just a technical project—it’s a move towards a more transparent, data-driven film industry in Nepal, and we are honored to be a part of this transformation under the leadership of the Film Development Board.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to the system’s public launch!
